Roofing and sheeting
Roof sheeting and roofing contractor in Mauritius
Supply and installation of profiled roof sheeting on steel or timber purlins, for villas, extensions, warehouses and farm buildings. Flashings, gutters and insulation included in one quote.
Roof sheeting is the job we quote most often. New builds, extensions tied into an existing roof, poultry houses and warehouses, or a corroded roof that needs replacing before the rainy season: Maureo supplies and installs the complete metal roof, framing included where needed.
We install pre-painted or galvanised profiled sheeting on steel or existing timber purlins, fixed with self-drilling screws and sealed washers rated for coastal exposure. Ridge cappings, barge flashings, gutters, downpipes and under-sheet insulation are itemised in the same quote so the scope is clear before work starts.
The process is the same on every job. We visit the site to measure and check the supporting structure, you receive a detailed quote within 5 days, work starts on receipt of the deposit and a single point of contact follows the works through to handover. We cover the whole of Mauritius from our base in Goodlands.

Frequently asked questions
Which roof sheeting do you use in Mauritius?
Pre-painted or galvanised profiled steel sheeting, in a gauge matched to the purlin spacing and wind exposure. Profile and colour are agreed with you at quote stage.
Can you replace the sheeting without replacing the frame?
Yes, if the frame is sound. We inspect it during the site visit. If purlins are corroded or undersized we tell you before quoting, not once the old roof is off.
Can you re-roof a working building without stopping operations?
Usually yes. We work bay by bay so the building stays weather-tight, and we agree access windows with your site manager. A RAMS can be supplied for sites that require it.
Do you work outside the north of the island?
Yes. We are based in Goodlands and work across the whole of Mauritius. The site visit is free of charge wherever the project is.
Do I need drawings to get a roofing quote?
Not for an existing roof: the site visit is enough. For a new build or extension, the architect's drawings speed up the quote and avoid discrepancies on site.
