Custom sliding gate for a villa, designed by JNB Design
Steel sliding gate designed by JNB Design for a villa, fabricated in the workshop and installed by Maureo: frame, infill, ground track, guides and final adjustment.
Design office JNB Design needed a metalworker able to execute the gate they had drawn for a villa faithfully: proportions, infill, finish. We worked from their drawings, proposed the fabrication details and cleared the technical points with them before starting in the workshop.
The gate was fabricated in steel tube with its infill, then prepared for the specified finish. On site we installed the ground track, posts and guides, then adjusted the travel so the gate runs freely and closes firmly.
The project shows how we work with designers and architects: we read the drawings, come back quickly on details and respect the design. The designer keeps control of the look; we take responsibility for the execution.
