Gates and fencing
Sliding gates, automated gates and fencing in Mauritius
Custom sliding and swing gates, gate automation, steel fencing and pedestrian gates for villas, residential estates and commercial premises. Workshop fabrication, site installation and commissioning.
A gate is made to measure, from the dimensions taken on site and the way you intend to use it: closing off a villa, securing the entrance of a residential estate, controlling access to a yard or depot. Maureo designs, fabricates and installs sliding, swing and automated gates, together with matching fencing and pedestrian gates.
Frames are in galvanised or painted steel tube, with infill in sheet, bars or slats, plus posts, ground track, guide rollers and end stops. Automation is installed and set up with the gate, including remote controls and safety photocells. For architects and design offices we work from your drawings and follow your detailing.
We visit to measure and check the threshold, you receive a detailed quote within 5 days, fabrication starts on receipt of the deposit and our team follows the installation through to final adjustment. We work across Mauritius from Goodlands.

Frequently asked questions
Sliding or swing gate: which should I choose?
A sliding gate suits sloping or short driveways and is simpler to automate. A swing gate needs clear space behind it. We advise on site once we have seen the entrance.
Can you automate an existing gate?
Often yes, provided the gate runs or swings freely and the frame can take the motor. We check this on site and quote any repairs first.
Galvanised or painted near the coast?
Near the sea, hot-dip galvanising followed by a paint finish lasts longest. Further inland, paint on properly prepared steel can be enough. We quote both options.
Do you work from architects' or designers' drawings?
Yes. We read the drawings, propose fabrication details and check back with the designer before cutting steel. This is how we work with the design offices that entrust us with their gates.
